The Kiki collection was such a huge success that the following development of furniture design was sustainably influenced by it. The continuously quality tested Table, produced in Finland, consists of a laminate board and a steel frame. If one looks a bit closer to it, one will find out that the steel tube is oval, and not round as most of the steel tubes are. This subliminally offers a completely different effect to it. Also the rest of the manufacturing is orientated by the design: this is how the welds are worked flawlessly and the high quality lacquer equips the astonishingly weightless, but still very stable frame with its elegant appearance. The Kiki collection won the golden medial on the Milan Triennial in its emerging year 1960 and it counts to the most used pieces of furniture in public areas in Finland.
