Arenson is proud to have collaborated with Perkins Eastman on Tronox’s global headquarters in Stamford, CT. In designing the 30,000 square-foot office space for the client, Perkins Eastman incorporated visual elements which alluded to the client’s core business, the mining and processing of the white pigment, titanium dioxide. The designers positioned white furniture items as branded elements and placed them in stark contrast against blue glass, suggesting the company’s identity and creating an exciting work environment for employees.

Tronox HQ design was awarded The 2013 Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) award and the 2013 Best of the Best Award in the category of “Tenant Fit-Out.”

The project was highly unique—in addition to a fast track schedule of six months from design to move-in for a corporate headquarters, Tronox was hiring a completely new staff, which meant that all design decisions and project direction were to come solely from the CEO and COO, both of whom had complex travel and business schedules.
